In addition to foreign artists, we could see Takuo Yamada's art works, who acted the field of fine art widely,
and Rina Ota's art works, who had lived in Barcelona for 15 years.

Thanks to the participant of artists with the same mind all over the world,
the name, Drap-art, has been internationally known year by year.
"Recycle art" is the universal art that can create wherever garbage exist on earth.

In cervantes culture center of Tokyo has thought of having a discussion of the issue
about the mass consumption culture in developed companies
and the impact on the over consumption and the environment.

This challenge is fresh and creative, in addition, filled with provocative and novelty idea.
We are trying to make a lot of people pay attention to the necessary to select new and good consumption behavior
and think about the possibility of recycling unnecessary goods.

Art works in this exhibition are associated with Irony or Extraordinary,
and take away the old borders of fine arts and crafts changing mass produced goods into humorous ones,
criticize the present social model based on mass consumption.

T-Rex and T- Bear of Kyomei Logic express clearly
that many Japanese artists use the expression of art for paying attention to over consumption issue to society and
participate in creative recycled arts.

The third of Kyomei Logic's art work!
This "T-BEAR" was created with a prayer to the Great East Japan Earthquake.
It was a 3 meters high big bear, using mainly fan covers.

We exhibited it at Creators market in Nagoya, which started in '99 as the biggest art market event in Tokai area.
From June 18 to 19, the event venue was Portmesse Nagoya #3.

It was the second scrap art works following "T-Rex".
"Ride it only 60 seconds, and you will get to the future after one minutes!"
I had been thinking about the art works based on this theme by being influenced on movies of like Time travel.
A science book " Make a Time machine!" (Paul Davis) was useful to create it.
How to supply the fuel is the same way of Back to the future 2 to recycle garbage.

The lighting behind seats is a thermal part of Japanese foot warmer.
The clear glass of cockpit is the cap of Permanent wave machine.
Step to put on foots is made of helicopter's.

Making of "Time machine"
-No design drawing. By setting up suitable, we decided the construction.
-Based on a room runner, We set up parts which look like car engine.
-Car manifold was just fit in it.
-It took 12 days to make it.

In the art world, "kyomei Logic" has an individuality and beauty in their creative "Scrap" art works.

They have created many amazing works by using scrap materials. "T-REX", was announced publicity in 2009, was popular, introduced by art events of Tokai area or Kanto area and TV.
The member "Kyomei Logic" consists of "Beauty parlor's owner", "Illustrator professional", "Domestic Creator". For creating one art work, they share a lot of time and synchronize their sensibility.

In June, 2010, the exhibited "Time machine" for Creators market held in Port messe Nagoya. "Time machine" had a beautiful body as if they could seen in SF movies and superb light setting. In collaboration with "AR technology", known by "Sekai Camera", it was popular among many visitors.
The technical expert "Mr. Matsumoto" ware in charge of AR and mixed the real world with the CG world. His technique made us show the amazing world as if we got on a time machine.

Though it took12 days to create the scrap "Time machine", they stuck with its high quality and controlled cost drastically to make it. Peddle used at cockpit of helicopter, Hose pipe of cleaner, Light bulb of Japanese foot warmer, Red seat bought at recycling shop with 300Yen...You can find some unique items in it.
The difficult point to create it is just "how to reduce the weight".
In case of a big sized art works, the hardest problem is how to carry it to the place. About the problem, they solved by stabilizing the foundation with a jack table.
They said they got a shock because of electric leak when they tried to get on the scrap time machine.
This collaboration of the brand-new scrap art "Scrap Time machine" with AR must become a revolution of art world.

My Favorite Artist, Leo Sewell. Influenced by him, we created Scrap art consisted of junks or toys.
To make the foundation, we welt parts of metal disposed and composed the suitable ones selected.
This work was used various good to make to fun, Mobile phone, Boots, fan covers, Gameboy, Number plate, QP Dool...
